I thought @Doug Briggs had posted this hear but evidently I saw it somewhere else.
Charlie Hauser is beginning his first season in the 80-84 class as a Masters Racer.
Edit, this is a couple years old (my mistake) but he's entering his 3rd year in the 80-84 class.
How cool is that!?

All I have to say is, Dang, Charlie!!

@Tricia , I posted it on FB as a 'memory' that showed up. He is now in his 3rd year of class 12 as the article was from 2015.

Yes, wow. Charlie is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. And a serious competitor.

Here and there.
^^^ What he said. I met Charlie at my first Masters race, a SG at Vail. We shared a chair and he kindly welcomed me, a very nervous noob, to racing. He told me that day to be sure to polish and wax my sidewalls....so I do. Couple years later I got kicked in the belly wrastling with a calf. I asked Charlie why it still hurt so much and he explained anatomy, physiology and orthopaedics all play a part and just give it time.

Sometimes he beats me racing and I really get joy from taking a little ribbing from him. Great guy.
