I will be in Switzerland in late January and will have a free weekend to ski. I am flying out from Zurich, so need to stay in that part of the country (otherwise I would have gone to Verbier:). Will spend some of the time earlier in the week in Lenzerheide. Is Davos also worth a visit? I am looking for good snow and quality off-piste skiing. Is it worth to bring a touring setup instead of normal alpine (i.e. do you gain a lot more options off-piste with the touring gear vs, performance loss over the alpine)? Specifically, is touring gear a big plus in Lenzerheide? Of course I will plan to hire a guide for anything serious off-piste and will bring or rent an airbag.
