Can I just slide the new Fischer Z12 "GW" binding into the old rails on my Fischer Z12 (non GW)?

I have a Fischer ski with the older Z12 bindings that are not GW compatible. I see that there is a new one that is.

I'm slowly upgrading my quiver to be all GW compatible because it seems more and more boots seem to be GW only these days. Can I buy a the new Z12 GW into the old rails when the time comes for a new boot? If not, is there a GW binding that could work? I prefer not to redrill the ski if possible.

Below are photos of the 2 (left is old, right is the new GW version)

Thanks! Are the PRD 12 ones from Head, Tyrolia, Fischer, Elan, etc. all the same? How about the Freeflex Demo 14 GW? It's reassuring that I can upgrade with all these options when the time comes.
